Amateur Radio General License Class Spring 2017

posted May 12, 2017, 6:57 AM by Jeremy Betz
Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communication together. People use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, all without the Internet or cell phones. It's fun, social, educational, and can be a lifeline during times of need.

The FCC General License exam will expand on your knowledge from your Technician License on FCC regulations, operating practices and electronics theory; it will also focus on your new licensing privileges, the HF bands and you do not have to learn Morse code!

Time: 6:30pm to 9:00pm (Wednesday Night)
Fee: $40 (including text book, handouts and exam fee)

128 Kings Highway, Milford, CT 06460
